
UEL sports student Ali Jawad narrowly missed out on winning a medal at the Paralympics, coming fourth in a dramatic Powerlifting Competition at the Excel Centre.

Following last night’s emphatic win over Argentina, the Men’s USA Basketball team took time out of their training session this afternoon at SportsDock to offer UEL students advice on how to keep drive and ambition at the forefront of their lives.
A member of the Men’s USA Basketball Team has cited the University of East London’s £21million SportsDock facility as being a major factor behind the team’s success to date so far in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
