Investing in Sport

In every British university, sport is high on the agenda. But at UEL, our commitment to sport goes deeper than most, with a long-term investment and plans to become the top sports university in London.

Our new sports initiative has been in place since 2005, when London was awarded the 2012 Olympics. As the new Olympic Park has sprung up on our doorstep, we’ve been developing infrastructure and a full academic programme – as well as forging partnerships with sports bodies from around the world.

Today, with the Games here , our investment is bearing fruit, our new sports facilities SportDock is currently hosting Team USA. After the games finish , it will continue to bear fruit as it hosts the promising UEL athletes competing in university leagues.
